This means you may not need a separate elastin supplement at all. A collagen supplement with solid clinical backing could address both proteins simultaneously, and with far more evidence supporting the approach.

Skin turnover is slow, and structural proteins take time to accumulate in the dermal layer.

Any product claiming visible results in days or a week is not supported by the research. Plan on at least 6 to 8 weeks of consistent daily use before evaluating whether a supplement is doing anything for you.
