Forgot to Take Levothyroxine Before Breakfast? What to Do

If you forgot to take your levothyroxine before breakfast, take it as soon as you remember, even if that means taking it later in the day. One missed or late dose is not dangerous. Levothyroxine has a long half-life in your body (about a week), so skipping a single dose won’t cause your thyroid levels to suddenly crash.

What to Do If You Already Ate
