Why You Might Still Feel Off After Alcohol Clears

Hangover symptoms like headaches, nausea, fatigue, and brain fog are caused by dehydration, inflammation, and the toxic byproducts your liver generated while breaking alcohol down. These symptoms typically peak the morning after drinking and can last 24 hours or more after heavy consumption, well after the alcohol itself is gone from your blood.
