Why Exercise Lowers Your Resting Heart Rate
When you do regular cardio, your heart physically adapts. The left ventricle, the chamber that pumps blood to your body, gets slightly larger and stronger. Day-to-day variation is normal. A single high reading doesn’t mean anything is wrong. Look at weekly averages instead. When a Low Heart Rate Is Too Low

The concern arises only when a slow heart rate causes symptoms: fainting, dizziness, lightheadedness, unusual fatigue, or feeling confused.
