Trial dosages typically range from 390 to 1,000 mg of curcumin with 20 mg of piperine daily. While individual studies show promise for lowering CRP, curcumin works best as a complement to the lifestyle changes above, not a substitute.
Fish oil supplements providing 1 to 3 grams of combined EPA and DHA daily can help close the omega-3 gap if you don’t eat much fish. Other supplements with some supporting evidence include vitamin D (particularly if you’re deficient) and magnesium. Beyond these, the evidence gets thin quickly.
