Why a Paste Instead of a Bandage
The main advantage of Triad over conventional dressings is that it works on surfaces where adhesive bandages fail. Wounds in skin folds, around the tailbone, near the groin, or on other curved and uneven body areas are notoriously difficult to keep covered. A flat sheet dressing bunches, peels, or shifts with movement. Triad, because it’s a paste, conforms to any contour and stays in place even on wet skin.

Many wound care products require a dry surface for adhesion, adding an extra step that can be painful and counterproductive for moist or weeping wounds. With Triad, you apply the paste to the surface as-is.
Because it functions as a self-contained coating, there’s generally no need to tape or wrap anything over it. This simplifies dressing changes and reduces the amount of adhesive contact with surrounding healthy skin, which can itself become irritated from repeated taping. At dressing changes, the paste is gently cleaned away and a fresh layer is applied.

Rather than simply absorbing moisture like a pad, it actively shields the wound from repeated exposure to urine and stool, which are the primary drivers of ongoing damage in these cases.
