A soft-bristled toothbrush with a head small enough to reach your back teeth is the best choice for most people. Whether it’s electric or manual matters less than you might think, though electric toothbrushes do have a measurable edge, especially if your brushing technique isn’t perfect.
Electric vs. Manual: How Big Is the Difference?
Electric toothbrushes remove more plaque and reduce gum inflammation better than manual ones.
