Drinking enough water won’t dramatically lower your blood sugar on its own, but chronic mild dehydration can quietly keep it higher than it needs to be. Plain water is the best choice. Sugary drinks and fruit juices are among the fastest ways to spike blood sugar and should be the first thing to cut.
